5 Days double gorilla trekking safari in Uganda

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative from the Entebbe international airport, they will meet greet and transfer you to the home of mountain gorillas, it is important to choose a morning flight when considering this safari, driving hours to the conservation area takes +/-8 hours passing through the amazing rolling hills, banana, and tea plantations, stopover en route for lunch at the Igongo cultural center. Arrival in Bwindi impenetrable national park will be in the evening for dinner and staying overnight at the facility that had been booked for your stay overnight.

Day 2: First-day gorilla trekking experience.

On this day we will be transferred to the national park, for a briefing to the park rangers at 8:00 am, they will tell you about the forest and how to conduct your selves while our guide representative registers you for the day’s events, in groups of 8 you will be allocated a gorilla family to track, it takes 2-8 hours doing the adventurous activity, coming face to face to the majestic creatures is an experience like no other, a once in a lifetime thing to do an hour is allowed while with the primates returning to meet up our guide who will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight.

Day 3: Forest walk to southern Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Following an early morning breakfast, we will take a walk through the forest to the other side of the national park, a guide ranger from the Uganda Wildlife Authority will take you to explore the many tree species and birds of the forest, along the walk you might encounter a few residents from the local community, the forest is an ancient impenetrable rain forest said to have survived the ice age era, and has evolved over time and hence the explicit beauty, arriving at Nteko where our guide representative will be transferring you to the lodge that has been booked for your dinner and staying overnight at

Day 4: Second Gorilla trekking experience.

Early morning breakfast after which we go for a second trekking of mountain gorillas this time round in a different sector, following a morning briefing from the park rangers, following and entertainment from local communities, the hike through the forest is a strenuous hike but rewarding at the end of, an encounter with the species is a magical moment which will leave you so amazed, an hour is allowed to interact with the primates after return to meet your guide, depending in the time you arrive you will visit the community to experience their local cultural ways. Day 5: Departure.

Morning breakfast, after check out, and proceed to the Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight back home.
